Over-thinking. Under-writing.

The cold does bother me, actually.
George Bailey: [running through Bedford Falls] Merry Christmas, movie house! Merry Christmas, Emporium! Merry Christmas, you wonderful old Building and Loan!

Me: Happy New Year, you old bad blog, you.

Sylvia Plath: And by the way, everything is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.

Fragment: A dream some dream wandering your house some house rooms all the rooms familiar rooms discovering a new room surprise waking to a word some words wandering a line some lines all the lines discovering a new poem surprise waking

Idea: Somehow getting some mad art and video skills and making an animated video of that fragment.

Why you try: Imagine immensities, don’t compromise, and don’t waste time. [Debbie Millman]

Posts that didn't get written: Why I'm quitting reading Huff/Post 50 (they keep telling how to live/look/what to say); the fun of thinking about writing vs. the discipline of actually writing.

Movie mini-review: Frozen. In which the animation is beautiful, the music is better than expected, and the princesses save themselves.

Videos that amused:

No excuse song for the day
