365 Poems: Buskerfest Fort Wayne

Day 182

Green guy.
One of the most popular landmarks of downtown Fort Wayne is the animated Sunbeam Bread loaf atop the Aunt Millie's bakery. Some would say it's even iconic, given the 'white-bread' reputation of the Fort.

But those of us who have been around awhile -- in time spent, and in city and area explored -- know better.

Buskerfest 2013 helped downtown come alive last Saturday night, and proved Fort Wayne is a veritable bakery of breads.

Rain threatened, but buskers don't care.
