365 Poems: Storm warning

Day 176

Of an evening. We try to capture the beauty of the flowers, but it proves impossible. And then the storm comes.

The lavender is stunning -- almost luminescent.
But the wind kept stealing my pictures.

 First the clouds, dark, roiling.

Then the lightning, and the rain. The wind blew the cushions off the porch chair, and the rocker as well. Then storm stole my pictures.
