365 Poems: Spring in black and white

Day 118

It's all about perspective. Like that scene in Dead Poets Society where Robin Williams has all the boys climb up on their chairs to look at the school-room from a different point of view. Really hard for a lot of people to do -- not because they're scared of heights (although some are), but because they are scared of seeing things a different way.

Poets see things from a different point of view because that's what they do. And poems are written to make us see things differently, too.

Another rainy spring day today, Sunday, one of too many. But we'll always have Saturday. So here it is,  again -- but from a different point of view.
