365 Poems: A quatrain wreck, or, Sonnets in action

Day 115

Courtesy of Tweetspeak, we continue our celebration of Shakespeare's birthday. How we wish we'd had these guidelines in prior years! How much hair-pulling may have been avoided? Of course one doesn't end a line with a word like 'sonnet' ... unless you've got a really, really creative line ending in 'bonnet' coming up.
Notice the list at the bottom of popular GOOD sonnets. 'Ozymandias' is one of my favs. If there was a list of popular BAD sonnets, we might be on it!
Also, this is the kind of thing poets think is hilarious.
