365 Poems: Monday morning edition

Day 77

In the car this weekend. Reading for pleasure and reading for fun.
For fun: Gayle Forman's Just One Day. Yes: I have a fondness for YA books. And this was a good one -- full of love and loss and Paris and discovery and mystery and persistence and lessons even for grownups reading books meant for young people.
And for pleasure, and book club: The Hare with Amber Eyes by Edmund De Waal, a book also full of love and loss and Paris and discovery and mystery and persistence and lessons for grownups reading books meant for them.
What next, Books? What strange journey, what epiphany, what destination? Pages like journeys, full of planning and plans, unexpected detours, strange conveyances, endings that aren't. Books like poems.
