Doesn't this seem obscene, given the Penn State scandal that continues to make me -- and many, even most, others-- feel ill? Nothing against Purdue specifically -- they just happened to announce this salary with extremely bad timing -- and bad taste. They are just one example of an institution of higher learning which, indeed, has not learned anything at all.
