A poem too soon ... should have waited for the ICE

Yea, I only thought that poor lavender plant looked forlorn in the snow. I should have known this was coming:
And I didn't even mention the Russian sage, which was a ghostly gray beside the lavender, and now looks like this:

Of course our neighborhood is groaning under the burden of half an inch of ice:

And just to cheer you up:

He lives on the porch out of the elements, and says, "Where the hell am I, the North Pole?"
