Don't get a puppy at Petland

Pet store chain linked to puppy mills - Pet health- msnbc.com: "After an eight-month investigation, the Humane Society of the United States accused Petland, the national pet store chain, of selling dogs bred under appalling conditions at puppy mills around the country."

    Although I agree I don't want pet mills. I do know that if these puppies don't find homes before they become too old they are put down. I had a dog that was saved from being put down. He was eight months old and they were going to put him to sleep so a friend got him and gave him to me. So I am torn on the thought either way. He turned out to be a great companion that I had for thirteen years. They had given him too many drugs though. I could not see that as his fault and kept him. Hopefully the government will stop this kind of stuff, until then these animals need homes and love.
