Live from Ft. Wayne: Local news | Freep.com | Detroit Free Press: "Sarah Norat-Phillips, the general manager of the Granite Broadcasting-owned station with offices in Southfield, said Monday that starting in early 2009, the station's programming and master control functions will come out of a digital broadcast hub based in Ft. Wayne. Programming for a Granite station in Peoria, Ill., will also originate out of the Indiana hub."
My question: will this change bring other stations up to the "quality" of Channel 33? Because that's a frightening concept. Just try watching the NewsCenter news at 10 p.m. We especially love it when the sounds goes off for long segments of the broadcast. Or, better yet, the nights when it's not on at all, with no warning.
