Update: After a reader question, I thought I would clarify the source of this info. An inside source at Parkview sent me this, copied from a email that went to employees. Total amount being donated is $300,000.
"One half of the amount, or $150,000, will go directly to the City of Fort Wayne to establish a Capital Maintenance and Improvement Fund, which will assure that the ballpark remains a first class facility and a great asset to the community for years to come. The other half will give us the rights to use Parkview's name and services throughout the ballpark - including using our name for the new field, having personnel at the first aid station, providing educational/testing areas (blood pressure checks, health screenings, etc.), providing healthy menu options (may be a first at a ballpark!), etc."
