One warning after another this week

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT EST /11 PM CST/ TONIGHT TO 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ WEDNESDAY.

RAIN WILL EVENTUALLY CHANGE TO FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET LATE THIS EVENING...THEN TO SLEET AND SNOW OVERNIGHT. ONE TO TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH OF ICE ACCUMULATION AND 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION ARE POSSIBLE BY DAYBREAK WEDNESDAY.

PRIOR TO THE CHANGEOVER TO SNOW...UP TO AN INCH OF RAINFALL IS ALSO POSSIBLE WHICH COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

Plus, there are flood warnings for various locations too. How many watches/warnings/advisories can we have in one week?!

  1. Better question: How many more times can they get it wrong?
