City shivers with scary fun | The Journal Gazette: "Downtown Fright Night, happening Saturday, might be Fort Wayne’s first Halloween-related citywide festival since our pagan forbears worshipped Pomona, goddess of fruit."
Okay--another great downtown festival/party. EVERYBODY laughs at me when I keep saying that Ft. Wayne's claim to fame -- you know that personality we're always trying to find? -- should be as festival/party central. I mean, what a great marketing opportunity (who doesn't like a party?), it's happening organically, the downtown is being developed for it, and it's a personality staring us in the face. Festivals are what we do best...why not capitalize on it?
