Kelleys Island Brewery: Restaurant, Microbrewery and Catering
Forgot to give these folks a plug! GREAT food, my dad liked their beer, and our waitress--who was also an owner--said she had seen -- and heard, she was so close -- an eagle near the restaurant not long ago. It gave her goosebumps!
Their sweet potato fries with cinnamon dipping sauce were worth the ferry trip over by themselves! And anywhere I can get a perch sandwich is okay with me. They also serve lake walleye. We sat outside, enjoyed the lake, the boats, the breeze, and the golf cart traffic putting by.
I could have sat their all afternoon...but we had a nature walk, a beach, a winery and some shopping to do. Not to mention the glacial grooves and inscription rock.
