Common Sensibilities Redux - Music, fairs and football
Our web launch at work went okay, but I've spent the last couple of days dealing with a major problem with our third-party email service provider. Just a nightmare!

Last Friday night found us at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville for a concert, the first we've been to in ages. Friend Sarah at work had found a 4-pack of tickets for a reasonable price and we anteed up. Mat Kearney, Sheryl Crow, and John Mayer. Lawn seating on a beautiful Friday night with a moon just past full. Found a new favorite in Mat Kearney; enjoyed the hits of Sheryl Crow; and was really impressed with the musicianship of John Mayer. Haven't heard anyone make a guitar sing like that since the '70s. Sang new stuff and old stuff and some blues. Late night, but worth it.

Football on the agenda for Saturday with Julian's first flag game at the Y. Two touchdowns, two interceptions and a couple tackles. Lovely afternoon. Had the Notre Dame game to watch after that, then on to Grabill to the Country Fair. Too much good food, as usual. Bought a very unusual bookmark--a long, thin, silver twisted wire with beads on each end. Handmade, of course.

Sunday full of family activities--shopping for the girls and golf for the guys; football on TV for all, and BW3 for dinner.

Next weekend is another flag football game...Johnny Appleseed...and hopefully some REST. Caught the little girls' cold.
