Shakespeare and Space
Space isn't remote at all. It's only an hour's drive away if your car could go straight upwards. -- Fred Hoyle [Is it infinity really so close?]

Do not, for one repulse, forego the purpose that you resolved to effect. -- William Shakespeare, 'The Tempest' [How easily we are wounded, and let that wounding choose the path we go down.]

Fall here. Trees turning, and falling, but slowly. Cold and rainy last week; summerlike, this week. Welcome, for sure. How about those Cubs? Our house full of excitement and signs hung by me and J. for the Division playoff. Is the apocolypse upon us? Are dogs and cats living together? Are the Cubs playing baseball in October? We noticed this week that the ivy at Wrigley is turning--and this was something none of us had ever seen. Just the bare vines of the spring.
