Raindrops keep falling on my head*
Art is the desire of a man to express himself, to record the reactions of his personality to the world he lives in. -- Amy Lowell (I KNEW art was something!)

Never give a child a sword. -- Latin Proverb (or a drum, or the remote)

Getting there isn't half the fun - it's all the fun. -- Robert Townsend (This is definitely my vacation philosophy.)

*B.J. Thomas being a favorite, and the weather this last week being of the consistently rainy variety. We are under the spell of some strange, Floridian pattern that sees early mornings with a gray haze that burns off to partly sunny skies, lots of humidity, and a slight breeze, which whips up in the late afternoon to crackling thunderstorms dumping occasionally copious amounts of rain on us. And sometimes this happens twice, once in late afternoon and once at night, as happened last night. Plus the mosquitoes are absolutely herding, and one can't sit out after 6 or so without being assaulted maniacally by the little buzzers.
